This moderated newsgroup provides a forum for amateurs to post their personal
artwork.

"Amateur" is defined as: One who derives no income, nor makes any attempt to
derive an income, from his or her personal artwork.

"Personal artwork" is defined as: Photographs, drawings, and computer-generated
images of the poster, poster's friends, or poster's family.

Posting cruel, abusive or gratuitous personal insults will not be allowed. A
poll of moderators is required to label posts as "abusive." Specific sanction
will be situationally refined by consensus to err toward freedom of expression.
There will be no interference with strong and forceful debates and
disagreements.

The creators of ABPPM recognize the history and evolution of USENET as an
ever-changing entity. The creators therefore empower the moderators, through
this Charter, to set forth and modify rules, regulations, and definitions to be
contained in the FAQ which shall govern conduct in this moderated newsgroup.
